Information for participants

The INSOURCE 2008 conference that deals with professional electronic information resources for business, management, marketing and research will be held from February 5 to February 6, 2008 in Prague in the Diplomat Hotel Prague.

Conference Venue and How to get there

INSOURCE 2008 is held in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. Convenient air travel and rail links make Prague easily accessible for travelers from within the Czech Republic, Europe, and around the world.

The conference will take place at the Diplomat Hotel Prague. Conference sessions will be held in Prague A-D rooms.

Travel to the hotel from the airport could be via taxi, or public transportation. One of the recommended taxi services is AAA Radiotaxi, phone number 14014. There is also a bus service to/from airport to/from metro station Dejvicka (bus lines no. 119, 254, fare: 20 CZK one way).

A copy of the program, descriptions of each of the sessions and changes that occur after publication are available at the Programme website. The main conference programme is divided into topic-oriented sessions.

Simultaneous interpretation in English is provided.

Exhibition

Visitors to INSOURCE conference will meet up to many exhibitors. The list of all exhibitors is presented at conference website.

Evening Party

All conference participants are invited to the party on Tuesday 5 February evening. This is an opportunity to network with your colleagues in an informal atmosphere. It is necessary to take an invitation card with you.

The party is held in Michna Palace (a part of Tyrš House or Tyršův palác in Czech), Újezd 450/40, Prague 1. Beginning at 7:30 pm.

The nearest tram station is Hellichova (tram lines no. 12, 20, 22, 23).

Registration Options and Prices

Two types of registration forms exists for the INSOURCE 2008 conference: registration for both days (you can share your registration with another person from your company and register each of you for one day only) and registration for one day only (Tuesday or Wednesday).

The registration fee for participants covers name badge, admission to all registered conference sessions, admission to the exhibition, participant’s bag, lunch tickets (on the basis of online registration) and invitation card for evening party (on the basis of online registration). It is very important that you always wear your delegate badge during the conference.

Register and realize payment until December 21, 2007 for the Early Bird discount. If your registration form and/or payment are received after December 21, 2007, the late fee will be charged automatically.

You can get another discount when using a promocode - a Promo Code can be found in an advertisement, or within the body of an email sent to you by the conference partners.

Attendees are responsible for all of their conference and travel expenses. We are unable to provide any funding to subsidize registration costs or any other attendee expenses.

Methods of Payment

Every participant will receive a proforma invoice via e-mail immediately after the online registration, and an invoice after the payment is done.

The required method of payment is bank transfer.

Please mind that we do not accept neither cheques nor payment in cash on arrival nor credit card payment on site.

Refunds and Cancellation Policy

In case the participation is cancelled in writing before January 4, 2008 the paid amount will be refunded less 25% cancellation fee. After the deadline has passed, no refunds will be issued. Refunds will be made after the conference. We are happy to accept replacement participants without any additional charges.

Registration Hours

There will be a registration desk set up at the Diplomat Hotel, which will work:

Tuesday, February 5 - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday, February 6 - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Meal Functions

Except group meal functions (in the Diplomat Hotel) may participants have a lunch individually in the other hotel restaurants or in a restaurant nearby.

Internet, Cloakroom

The conference provides WiFi (free wireless internet) to INSOURCE participants. Your laptop must be equipped with a WiFi card.

The cloakroom will be available for participants during the whole conference, every day from 8.00 am until 18.00.

There are many more hotels of various classes in Prague and the public transport is quite effective so please do not hesitate to arrange your accommodation according to your preferences.
